Prof. Owapriba P. Abu becomes Director Centre for Gender, Conflict and Development Studies

Prof. Owapriba Prayer Abu becomes Director of the Centre for Gender, Conflict and Development Studies (CGCDS-Uniport), University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt. She took the mantle of Leadership from Dr. Adaku A. Ubelejit-Nte to lead the Centre into a more prospective and impactful future.

The demands and studies related to gender awareness and proper conflict resolution will continue to be a focus of the Centre.
